About us

Founded in 1971, the Aboriginal Medical Service Co-operative Limited is Australia’s first Aboriginal community controlled health organisation.

Based in Redfern, we provide culturally appropriate, holistic healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

For our registered patients, we offer bulk-billed, walk-in primary healthcare services. We also offer allied health, specialist services and community programs by appointment.

We have a dedicated and qualified health team, working to achieve a healthier community.
